We are seeking a Remote Title Curative Specialist for a national title insurance company based in Missouri.
Position Overview
You will support real estate closing transactions by resolving complex inquiries and ensuring a seamless experience for both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a high-level subject matter expert capable of navigating routine and non-routine title issues with precision, speed, and professionalism. You will be responsible for meeting rigorous hourly SLAs while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Manage internal and external inquiries regarding moderately complex title processes and transactions, escalating high-level issues as necessary.

Oversee the preparation and review of essential title documents, specifically affidavits and required closing forms, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

Serve as a primary point of contact between parties to ensure requests are resolved effectively; maintain proactive communication to provide a superior customer experience.

Monitor centralized inboxes and systematic work queues; meticulously document notes and file records according to standard operating procedures.

Track inquiry status, follow up on delays, and update management on trends or issues that may impact business operations or client satisfaction.

Communicate requirements to clients and exercise sound judgment when enforcing or identifying necessary exceptions to policies.
Qualifications & Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience in title company lien clearing, processing, or curative functions.

Advanced computer skills, including high comfort with the Microsoft Office Suite and title production software.

Extensive experience with lien clearing and title resolution, including a deep understanding of title and mortgage documents.

Proven track record in a multi-state operation and experience with National Title Providers is highly desired.
