Our client, a title company in Michigan, is seeking an experienced Escrow Processing Officer to support residential real estate transactions. This role is responsible for preparing closing packages, managing escrow files, and ensuring smooth, on-time closings.

Responsibilities
Review escrow instructions from buyers, sellers, and lenders
Order and review title reports; clear title issues, liens, and encumbrances
Prepare closing documents, including Closing Disclosures (CDs) and deeds
Review lender instructions and ensure all requirements are met
Calculate prorations for taxes, interest, and other fees
Coordinate with lenders, agents, attorneys, and clients to schedule closings
Ensure files are complete and ready for funding and closing
Respond to inquiries and provide excellent customer service

Qualifications
5+ years of title insurance experience
At least 2 years of escrow processing experience
Required: Purchase transaction experience
Preferred: Refinance experience
Experience with SoftPro, RamQuest, or similar title/escrow software
Knowledge of TRID and closing documentation
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and ability to manage multiple files
