We are seeking a Commercial Escrow Assistant for a national title insurance company based in Seattle.

Role Overview

The Commercial Escrow Assistant provides essential support to the escrow team by managing the administrative and technical components of high-volume commercial real estate transactions. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and client service.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist in the opening and initial processing of commercial escrow files, ensuring all necessary data and documents are organized.

  • Help prepare preliminary title reports, commitment letters, and basic closing documents under the guidance of the Escrow Officer.

  • Serve as a reliable liaison between internal departments and external clients to collect required documentation and provide status updates.

  • Support the final stages of the transaction, including checking for completeness, managing post-closing tasks, and organizing file disbursements.

  • Proactively identify missing information or discrepancies to ensure a smooth timeline for the closing process.

Professional Qualifications

  • Extensive experience working specifically on commercial transactions, with a solid grasp of the complexities involved in non-residential real estate.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard escrow software and a strong ability to manage digital and physical filing systems.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor while interacting with high-level commercial clients.

  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

  • Commitment to an on-site schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
