We are seeking a Residential Real Estate Title Review Attorney licensed in either North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia. This vital role requires expertise in residential real estate transactions, with a strong focus on title review and the curative process. The position can be entirely remote!
The ideal candidate will be highly self-sufficient, capable of working independently, and committed to meeting monthly performance goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of assigned title searches.
- Examine all legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with state laws.
- Identify and resolve title curative issues promptly and effectively.
- Prepare and deliver preliminary and final title opinion statements.
- Manage a high volume of transactions while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Provide occasional in-office coverage as needed, based on location.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited Law School
- NC, SC, or GA bar license required; Multi-State license is a huge plus.
- Hold either a current appointment as a Notary Public or the ability to obtain such qualification prior to beginning employment.
- Two or more years of residential real estate law experience preferred but not required.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
