Job Description
The Financial Analyst plays a key role within the organization by preparing, analyzing, and optimizing reports that reflect the company's financial and operational status. This position directly supports management in strategic decision-making through detailed analysis of results, trends, and projections. Their work contributes to the achievement of financial objectives and the strengthening of administrative control in all operational areas.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage financial reports related to monthly accounting closings.
- Collaborate with general management and the financial control team to develop budgets, projections, and performance evaluations.
- Prepare detailed reports on the financial and operational performance of the various business units, identifying opportunities for improvement and potential risks.
- Calculate key financial indicators and analyze the main drivers of performance using financial tools and systems (such as SAP FI/CO).
- Design executive presentations and analytical reports required by the different business areas.
- Participate in the evaluation of investment projects and corporate reorganization processes.
- Perform comparative analyses and efficiency studies between divisions or subsidiaries, proposing specific actions for improvement.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of internal control systems, promoting the standardization and continuous improvement of financial processes.
- Prepare business plans and follow-up reports for assigned projects.
- Collaborate with international finance teams on financial control and analysis initiatives.
- Perform special analyses or ad hoc reports requested by the finance department or the network control area.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance (CPA or related certifications are a plus).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis.
- Knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and financial analysis tools; experience with SAP (FI/CO modules) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Willingness to travel as required by the company.
