Job Description:

We are a leading title and escrow company seeking an experienced Title Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the title processing and real estate transaction process, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Document Preparation: Prepare and review title documents, including title commitments, title policies, and closing documents.
  • Title Search Coordination: Order and review title searches and examinations to identify any title issues or discrepancies.
  • Communication: Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure all parties are informed throughout the process.
  • Title Issue Resolution: Assist in clearing title issues by working with underwriters, lenders, and other parties to resolve any defects or encumbrances on the title.
  • Compliance: Ensure all title requirements and conditions are met in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Closing Support: Prepare final title policies and closing documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness for a smooth closing process.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all title transactions and related documents.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and keeping all parties updated on the status of their transactions.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the title and escrow industry, specifically in title processing.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of title insurance, title searches, and real estate transactions.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents and transactions.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in title software and related tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
