About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Estate Planning Paralegal to support our legal team in drafting and managing estate planning documents. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate-related documents while maintaining a high level of client service and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
- Conduct legal research related to estate planning laws and regulations.
- Coordinate client meetings, manage case files, and maintain organized documentation.
- Prepare and file probate documents, if applicable.
- Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and other relevant parties regarding estate planning matters.
- Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in estate planning.
- Education: Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal education preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
- Skills: Excellent drafting, research, and organizational skills.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with estate planning software and case management systems.
