Escrow Officer (On-Site)
The Escrow Officer is responsible for preparing and processing escrow documents, ensuring a smooth closing process, clearing title requirements, and issuing title insurance. This role also focuses on business development through marketing and customer service efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily tasks with the Branch or Escrow Manager.
- Obtain demands/releases to clear title and ensure compliance.
- Prepare escrow instructions, settlement sheets, and supporting documents.
- Review title commitments and resolve discrepancies with the title officer.
- Manage funds, disburse payments, and reconcile escrow accounts.
- Ensure compliance with escrow accounting procedures and Good Funds Law.
- Train and supervise office associates as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of escrow transactions.
- Solicit new business through networking and client engagement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of escrow officer experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Notary license required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
