Escrow Officer (On-Site)

The Escrow Officer is responsible for preparing and processing escrow documents, ensuring a smooth closing process, clearing title requirements, and issuing title insurance. This role also focuses on business development through marketing and customer service efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily tasks with the Branch or Escrow Manager.
  • Obtain demands/releases to clear title and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare escrow instructions, settlement sheets, and supporting documents.
  • Review title commitments and resolve discrepancies with the title officer.
  • Manage funds, disburse payments, and reconcile escrow accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with escrow accounting procedures and Good Funds Law.
  • Train and supervise office associates as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of escrow transactions.
  • Solicit new business through networking and client engagement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of escrow officer experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Notary license required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
