Job description
The Production Technician is responsible for executing various specialized activities within the manufacturing process, focused on finishing and marking of products. This role requires skills in post-machining techniques, ensuring accuracy and quality in each process.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operate and set up laser marking equipment to ensure permanent and accurate engravings on surfaces.
  • Apply finishing techniques such as satin brushing to achieve matte surfaces with lower reflectivity.
  • Perform surface cleaning and conditioning processes by abrasive sandblasting, removing imperfections and contaminants.
  • Perform automated magnetized polishing to improve the finish of parts by means of metallic micro-agents.
  • Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas.
  • Inspect equipment and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform checks during the production process to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Support other tasks as required.

Requirements and Competencies
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks that require occasional physical exertion.
  • Functional proficiency in English and Spanish in reading, writing and verbal communication.
  • Ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • General understanding of the relationship between the quality management system and organizational success.
  • Ability to meet production goals and maintain performance standards.
  • Manual skills to execute finishing processes accurately and efficiently.
