We are a highly respected national plaintiffs' firm seeking to add Litigation Paralegals and Assistants to our Teams across the country. This role is ideal for a motivated Legal Assistant with a passion for advocating on behalf of individuals injured due to corporate misconduct. Our cases are complex, fast-paced, and often involve numerous defendants, resulting in substantial settlements and verdicts. As such, this is an in-office position designed to foster collaboration and effective advocacy.

Key Responsibilities include assisting the Attorneys in the following areas:

  • Draft and argue motions related to summary judgment, demurrers, jurisdictional challenges, motions in limine, and various discovery-related motions.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research to craft compelling arguments and develop case strategies.
  • Work closely with trial teams to ensure motions and oppositions are aligned with broader litigation goals.
  • Present oral arguments in court, advocating on behalf of clients in high-stakes cases.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on complex litigation, ensuring efficient workflow and sharing insights.
  • Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding litigation environment.
  • Participate in case strategy discussions, offering critical and creative legal perspectives.
  • Maintain a keen attention to detail while balancing speed and accuracy in drafting and research.

Qualifications:

  • Litigation Paralegal or similar experience
  • Research and comprehensive brief writing.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills, with the ability to distill complex legal concepts into clear, persuasive arguments.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, supporting clients injured by corporate wrongdoing.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated record of supporting in the courtroom.
  • Ability to thrive under deadlines in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  • Commitment to plaintiff-side litigation and a passion for pursuing justice on behalf of injured clients.
