Job Description
Responsible for ensuring the proper administration and use of allocated funds, following applicable rules and regulations. This position requires analytical, organizational and communication skills to support department operations and facilitate administrative processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Administer and supervise processes related to the management and distribution of allocated funds, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory policies.
- Prepare and manage periodic reports required by regulatory entities such as the Federal Department of Education, the Puerto Rico Board of Education and external or internal auditors.
- Perform electronic transmissions related to funds and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the delivery of data to the corresponding agencies.
- Actively participate in internal and external audits, providing the necessary documentation and data to support the management of funds.
- Attend and contribute to departmental meetings, collaborating on continuous improvement initiatives and implementing more efficient processes within the office.
- Monitor and ensure all processes are aligned with federal, state and local regulations in addition to institutional policies.
- Collaborate with other team members on tasks related to financial aid administration and improving student services.
Requirements:
- Mode: Hybrid (must work 1 to 2 times a week in person at the corporate offices in Hato Rey).
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 8-5pm/9-6pm and 10-7pm.
- Experience in customer service, administrative work.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related areas.
