We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Title Assistant. The Title Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the title processing and administrative functions within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Title Processing:

    • Assist in reviewing and processing real estate title documents.
    • Verify accuracy and completeness of title information and documentation.
    • Coordinate with title examiners, attorneys, and clients to resolve any title issues.
  2. Document Preparation:

    • Prepare and organize title commitments, title reports, and other related documents.
    • Assist in preparing closing documents and ensuring all necessary paperwork is in order for real estate transactions.
  3. Data Entry and Record Keeping:

    • Enter and maintain accurate data related to title documents and transactions in the company's database.
    • Organize and manage physical and electronic files to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping standards.
  4. Communication and Customer Service:

    • Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, lenders, and other stakeholders regarding title-related matters.
    • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Administrative Support:

    • Assist in general administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence.
    • Support team members with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in real estate or title processing is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a title company, real estate office, or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document review.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and office tools, including Microsoft Office suite and title processing software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
