Objective of the Automotive Parts Salesperson:

The primary objective of an automotive parts salesperson is to provide exceptional service to customers seeking vehicle parts and accessories. The salesperson must ensure that customers obtain the right parts by providing expert advice and meeting the company's sales goals.

Responsibilities of the Automotive Parts Salesperson:

• Provide friendly and professional service to customers visiting the counter, dealing with their queries, providing information on available parts and accessories, and assisting them in selecting suitable products for their needs.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of automotive parts available in inventory, including technical specifications, compatibility with different vehicles, and pricing.
• Establish and meet sales targets set by the company.
• Effectively manage the sales process, from initial inquiry to final sale.
• Maintain an accurate record of automotive parts inventory, ensuring stock is up to date and efficiently organized.
• Place replenishment orders when necessary and keep track of stock levels.
• Perform purchase transactions accurately and efficiently, using point of sale systems and payment methods.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded in accordance with company policies.

Requirements:

• Must have a solid knowledge of automotive parts.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Technical background in automotive mechanics is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with customers and resolve their needs.
• Proven ability to make effective sales, meeting sales goals and quotas.
• Bilingual.
