We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to work in both our Family & Commercial Litigation Law Divisions. Ideal candidates will have 3-6 years of Family Law or Commercial Litigation experience. This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to family law and commercial litigation, including but not limited to communicating with clients and other counsel, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing for, and attending court hearings, depositions, mediations, and conferences, and preparing for and attending trials.
Compensation:
Base salary $100,000 – $130,000 and commensurate based on experience. Attorneys with a portable case book of business will receive preferential consideration. Bar Dues and CLEs provided by the law firm, a commission on any case brought into our firm for any area of law that we handle (minus PIP).
Responsibilities:
Preparing cases for hearings, mediations, conferences, and trials. Researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs. Attending hearings, mediations, and trials. Meeting with clients.
Qualifications:
Licensed and in good standing with the Florida State Bar. 4-6 years of experience Family Law or Commercial Litigation. Experience drafting and responding to motions. Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing, and legal research skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Great attorney work ethic.
